Students of class X and XII would have 27 March 2019 as last working day for this month and they would rejoin on 2 April 2019 as new academic session commences with the Sumner School timings i.e 7:40 a.m and in Summer Uniform.

The parents are requested to report to school on Saturday , 2 February 2019 for signing the Board roll no. of their wards. Any one parent can come for the same. Kindly adhere to the timings as it an Non-working Saturday. It is mandatory for the students to come in school uniform. Both the student along with the parent need to be present for signing the admit card.

ACTIVITY: Cartoon Making
Cartoons are a perfect source of expression for both children and adults. In today’s world, a picture can help communicate a thousand words.
Being children, it is important for you to know your rights and the obligations of society towards the children and to spread awareness about the same.
On the world UNICEF Day, design a meaningful cartoon that can help communicate and realize the rights of every child.
Some of the rights as given by UNICEF are-
Article 9 – The children should not be separated from their parents unless it is for their own good.
Article 11– Governments should take steps to stop children being taken out of their own country illegally.
Article 12– Children have the right to say what they think should happen, when adults are making decisions that affect
them, and to have their opinions taken into account.
Article 14– Children have the right to think and believe what they want, and to practise their religion, as long as they
are not stopping other people from enjoying their rights.
Article 32– The Government should protect children from work that is dangerous, or might harm their health or their
Article 33– The Government should provide ways of protecting children from dangerous drugs.
Article 35– The Government should make sure that children are not abducted or sold

The school shall remain functional for classes X and XII after Pre-board -I examination ( i.e from 11 December 2018). Kindly ensure your ward attends the school regularly thereafter.

We would like to thank you for your cooperation in our constant endeavors to ensure discipline amongst our students. We believe that as parents and as educationists, together we can promote children’s safety by keeping nefarious activities at bay. Together, we can curb activities that may amount to indiscipline, violence and other fatalities.
This is to inform you that the school, does not, in any form, support the ‘Continuation Party’ which is being organized by students of classes XI and XII for the outgoing batch of 2018-19. Attending the party may have undesirable influences on your ward. Thus the school wishes to issue a strong advisory against the Continuation Party.
We hope that you will acknowledge this as our step towards your ward’s welfare and safety.
Kindly note that Saturday, 8 December 2018 will be a working day for classes VIII, IX and XI. The time table of Wednesday would be followed. The timings are 7:30 a.m to 12:45 p.m.
Classes X and XII will follow the Schedule of the Pre-board I Exams.
Reminder for the participants: The National Science Olympiad will be conducted in school tomorrow i .e Tuesday,27 November 2018 during the school hours.

The Olympiad will be conducted in school on 27 November 2018.
The participants class X should reach school by 12:30 pm, they should be dropped by the parent but can avail school transport to go back home.
